Job Description:

Frank Relle Gallery seeks someone who cares about art and likes talking to people. We want someone with a generous spirit eager to speak to gallery visitors about their travels, photography, and New Orleans. The ideal person will enjoy creating a comfortable gallery atmosphere and be enthusiastic about engaging visitors with genuine in-person and follow-up conversations. A thoughtful, curious attitude and listening to people's interests are necessary. It would be best to have sales awareness to prioritize visitors interested in collecting Frank’s photographs and comfort in facilitating sales transactions.

You need motivation and resilience to stay engaged and be good at balancing your follow-up client communications and your in-gallery conversations.

At the gallery, you will be asked to discuss Frank Relle's photography techniques, the locations where he's made images, and the stories behind the photographs. Someone who appreciates and has a natural curiosity for New Orleans and Louisiana culture and likes to share that enthusiasm will make you ideally qualified.

Compensation includes:
Hourly base pay plus sales commissions and paid time off.
Average hourly pay of $36, including base pay and sales commissions.

Software:
You will use Google Drive, Gmail, and Hubspot for digital communications.

Hours:
Part-time work available. Shifts include nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Required education: Bachelor's degree
